Title: ART – A value-creating factor in existential meetings and as an experience in healthcare environments

Idea: In 2016, AM Public received funds from Västra Götalandsregionen (VGR) to deepen and highlight the subject of art and health in care environments. During 2016 AM Public, in collaboration with the art unit at VGR, conducted a number of workshops with specially invited guests to develop the questions related to art in care environments. The work culminated 2017 in a seminar ”ART – A value-creating factor in existential meetings and as an experience in healthcare environments”. During this seminar, discussions were conducted on how the role of art in healthcare environments can be strengthened and serve as a resource in the meeting between patients, staff and relatives. Speakers during the day were Jonna Lappalainen, Morag Myerscough, Ann Magnusson, Richard Sangwill, Henrik Sjövall, Stefan Lundin, Helle Wijk.
