77 Million Paintings for Kästa school, Brian Eno (2015)
Title: 77 Million Paintings for Kästa school
Artist: Brian Eno
Year of installation: 2015
Location: Kästa school, Huddinge
Client: Huge Fastigheter AB
Idea and performance: 77 Million Paintings for Kästa school is Brian Eno’s first permanent public artwork in Sweden. It is a digital sound, light and color piece that combines over 500 images through a random generator. The result is an endless variety of visuals reminiscent of a kaleidoscope. Unique for this project is that Brian Eno for the first time has invited others to contribute with their own pictures to the artwork, namely the students of Kästa school in Flemingsberg.
